Stage I 02.10.2020: team race against time

RACE PARTICIPATION FEE
Online registration procedure is based on the principle of gradual increase of the non-refundable charitable contribution to the account of the public organization “West Road Cycling” and aimed to develop cycling in Ukraine in accordance with the terms of the public offer agreement. The fee is going to be changed according to the following principle:
-registration until September 5 inclusive – charitable contribution starting from UAH 500;
-registration until September 19 inclusive – charitable contribution starting from 650 UAH;
-registration until September 25 inclusive – charitable contribution starting from UAH 800;

HOW TO GET
Nowadays Lviv region is a mecca for road cycling in Ukraine. Many kilometers of ideal secondary roads, plain and mountain routes of the Lviv Carpathians provide excellent opportunities for both intensive training and amateur cycling in search for inner Zen. Moreover, you can always spend winter on the one and only indoor bike track in Ukraine, where you can always sharpen your riding technique. Lviv is known for its hospitable people who will be happy to meet and treat you, show different cafes and restaurants, walk you through the historic streets of the city. Well, doesn’t it sound like a heaven?!
Lviv is located in the western part of Ukraine, 70 km from the border with the EU and 160 km from the eastern Carpathians. It is the 7th largest Ukrainian city. The climate in Lviv is humid continental with mild winters and summers, humid springs, warm and dry autumns. Average temperature in winter is -3.4 °C and 17.5 ° C in summer, +11 ° C in the surrounding mountain areas.

GETTING TO THE FIRST STAGE - SHCHYRETS'
The first stage of cycling and, accordingly, registration for the Tour de Onur will start on October 2, 2020 in the city of Shchyrets, Lviv region, which is located 30 km away from Lviv. Offline registration of participants on the first day of cycling and the starter package will be available from 10:00 till 13:30. The race starts at 14:00.
You can get to the place of start and registration, both by car and suburban train, which runs from Lviv Suburban Train Station to the Station Shchyrets-2. The train schedule can be found on the website of the Lviv Railway: http://railway.lviv.ua/schedule/suburban/
Please note that participants will be able to use a shuttle bus between stages, more datails below.
HOW TO GET TO THE SECOND AND THIRD STAGES - SIANKY
The second and third stages of the Tour de Onur cycling race will start on October 3 and 4, 2020 on the basis of the Western Rehabilitation and Sports Center in Turka district of Lviv region near the village of Sianky, which is located 160 km away from Lviv. Start of the second stage is planned for 12:00 AM, the third stage – 10:00 AM.
It is best to get to the starting point by car. It is also possible to get to the starting point the day before by suburban train from Lviv Suburban Train Station to the Station Syanky. Please find the train schedule on the website of the Lviv Railway: http://railway.lviv.ua/schedule/suburban/
SHUTTLE BUS
We would like to draw the attention of participants to the fact that they can use free Tour de Onur shuttle bus between the stages of race. If you plan to use the shuttle bus please leave a special note in Tour de Onur registration form. If you decided to register for the shuttle bus after registering for the race – please send a request to e-mail hello@tourdeonur.com.ua no later than 23:59 PM 25.09.2020. Registration for the shuttle bus after this date will be available only if there places available.
Tour de Onur shuttle will make the following transfers:
- 02.10.2020 from Lviv to Shchyrets; after the finish of the first stage from Shchyrets to the Western Rehabilitation and Sports Center in the village of Syanky;
- 04.10.2020 from the Western Rehabilitation and Sports Center in Syanky village to Lviv
The exact time and location of the shuttle bus will be additionally announced to the participants who have registered for the Tour de Onur shuttle bus through our communication channels.
ACCOMMODATION AND MEALS
Participants of the cycling race organize their accommodation and meals independently during all three stages of the cycling race. Upon request, participants may come to Lviv a few days before the first stage of the bike race, where there are more than 200 hostels and hotels, 39 of which are 3- and 5-star. Accommodation in this case is also organized by the participant independently.
Additionally, we would like to inform you that after the second stage of the cycling race on October 3, 2020, a free carbo lunch will be provided for the finalists to recharge 🙂
We also inform you that all participants of the cycling race who have registered on the website have the opportunity to book a hotel room for two nights from 02 till 04 October 2020 in Western Rehabilitation and Sports Center – the starting point of the second and third stages of Tour de Onur. The cost of one night per person is approximately UAH 450. For an additional fee of UAH 300 the hotel complex also offers meals.

- Send an reservation request to hello@tourdeonur.com.ua indicating full name of the persons who will stay in a room, as well as a contact phone number. Additionally, please provide information about meal plan.
- We will reach you to confirm details of your reservation and send an invoice for the payment.
We would like to inform you that the participants of the cycling race organize and pay for all services related to accommodation and meals in the Hotel Complex of the Western Rehabilitation and Sports Center individually.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
We would like to inform you that the organizers of the Tour de Onur 2020 will make sure all participants of cycling race are insured free of charge. For this purpose, the individual tax number of the person wishing to register for the race will be requested upon registration.
And the most positive information. All participants of Tour de Onur cycling race will receive a starter package which will traditionally includes not only a T-shirt. All participants are welcome to participate in a small opening party on October 3, 2020 (adhering to quarantine restrictions).
